Turkey has reached an agreement with Gazprom financing of Turkish Stream pipeline construction in its territory.
This is what the director general of the Turkish state pipeline company Вotas Burhan Ozcan told RIA Novosti on Monday on the sidelines of the 22nd World Petroleum Congress in Istanbul.
“We have already reached an agreement with them on this issue. However, I can't reveal the figures – in what proportion we will implement it,” he noted.
In his words, the process of obtaining permits for a second string of the Turkish stream continues in a positive way, and there is “no pitfalls”.
As a reference, on October 10, 2016, Russia and Turkey signed the intergovernmental agreement on the Turkish Stream project, which operator is South Stream Transport.
