Commission of the House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress for budgetary allocations has published a bill, which envisages $1.6 billion for construction of a wall on the border with Mexico, The Hill reports.

The newspaper notes that the wall construction intended to fight illegal migration and crime was the main Trump's promise during his election campaign. The bill referred to an unfulfilled promise of the US President to build a wall at the expense of Mexico.

According to John Carter, a Chairman of Homeland Security Subcommittee, this bill provides funding for the start of the wall construction, extending the existing infrastructure of the U.S.-Mexico border security, The Hill writes.
