About 90 million rubles will be allocated to Belaya Dacha holding, which launches greenhouses occupying 15 acres of land in the Stavropol region, Russia.

Construction of the first phase of a greenhouse complex for the cultivation of mini-lettuce is being completed now in the region. After the construction of the second phase, the company plans to begin a year-round production of tomatoes. At the same time, a potential cancellation of food embargo, including that against Turkish tomatoes, will not affect the project implementation, the holding’s director said.

The cost of construction of the first phase of the Valley of Sun is about 2,5 billion rubles ($41 million).

“The regional government headed by Governor Vladimir Vladimirov is most interested that business activity in the Stavropol region evolves, and it is ready to support entrepreneurs who come to our region. We offer the best conditions for attracting investments into the economy of Stavropol, and we are glad that such large-scale projects are implemented in the region”, deputy chairman of the Stavropol region government Andrey Murga said.
