JSC Zarubezhneft, a Russian state-controlled oil company based in Moscow, signed with Gabon Oil Company, the national oil company of Gabon, a road map of long-term cooperation between the companies in the implementation of oil and gas projects in Gabon, the Russian company’s report says.
The document was signed at the World Petroleum Congress in Istanbul.
“In elaboration of the previous agreements (concluded within the framework of meetings at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum – editor’s note) between JSC Zarubezhneft and the national oil company of Gabon, Gabon Oil Company, a road map of strategic cooperation between the companies on the possible implementation of oil and gas projects in Gabon was signed,” the document reads.
It noted that the head of Zarubezhneft, Sergey Kudryashov, held a number of meetings with representatives of foreign energy companies on the sidelines of the forum.
