CMS, a well-known machine manufacturer from Italy made a decision to established its first production in Russia, namely, in the Urals special economic zone “Titanium Valley”, the SEZ press office told Construction.RU on Wednesday.
It specified that the president of the Italian company, Mark Aceti, signed an agreement of intent with CEO of “Titanium Valley” SEZ, Artemy Kyzlasov, within the framework of the 2017 Innoprom international industrial exhibition held in Russia.
According to Aceti, in terms of machine market volume, Russia is among the world's top five countries. In connection with an import substitution program, the portion of exports to the country has declined by 25%. However, domestic producers are not able to completely meet the demand, and this where CMS sees its prospects.
