The French authorities seized the property of a former Finance Minister of the Moscow region, Russia, Alexey Kuznetsov and his wife Jeanne Bullakh, Interfax news agency reports on Friday with reference to an official representative of the Prosecutor-General’s Office of the Russian Federation, Alexander Kurennoy.
“In the fulfillment of the order regarding a criminal case investigated in Russia against A. Kuznetsov and his accomplice J. Bullakh, directed by the Prosecutor-General's Office in 2016, the following items of property belonging to them were seized: an apartment with furniture and objects of art in Paris, a villa in Saint-Tropez and hotels in Courchevel,” Mr. Kurennoy specified.
According to preliminary estimates, the value of these assets amounts to 120 million euro.
