On Friday, the government of the Kaluga region, Russia, has signed an agreement with Italian Vernipoll S.r.l. on the construction of a plant for the production of a medical equipment in the region’s territory.
As Construction.RU was told by the Corporation of Kaluga Regional Development, the new enterprise will be erected in the area of Kaluga special economic zone of industrial type.
The facility will be built on a plot of land with an area of 4,8 hectares located in the Lyudinovsky district. About 250 million rubles will be invested in the project. Some 100 jobs are expected to be created at the enterprise.
Vernipoll S.r.l. is engaged in production and delivery of hospital equipment to the markets of Eastern Europe, the Balkans, Middle East, Africa and South America.
