The construction of a modern tannage plant has started in Zarinsk in the Altay region. The plant will produce about 600 tons of primary material a month.
As the Director of the plant, Vladimir Sirotin, claimed, at the Stolypin conference, the owners of the plant expect the town to receive the status of the Priority Social and Economic Development Area, and this will help compensate the project’s implementation.
Earlier, the investors planned to put the plant in operation in 2017, later the deadline was put off until November-December, 2018.
A rental agreement for a land plot has been signed, engineering communications have been taken away from the construction site. 80% of the pile field is ready, and the assembly of metal structures has started.
The implementation of the project is assessed as much as 1.6 bln roubles (≈$27m) including 109m roubles of federal subsidies, 680m – investor’s money and 185 m roubles according to the Sberbank leasing treaty for the purchase of the equipment. 640m roubles are planned to be borrowed at concessionary interest rate from the Fund for Development of Mono-towns.
