French volunteers are going to visit Russia to take part in the reconstruction of Donskoi Monastery and Palibin’s house, the press-office of the RF Ministry of Culture has told Construction.RU today.

The volunteers from the All-Russian Society for the Preservation of Historical and Cultural Monuments together with the Rempart volunteers’ association have arranged international campuses in Moscow. Volunteers from France and Russia will work under experts’ supervision in Donskoi Monastery and in Palibin’s house.

The work includes clearing of the walls of two towers in Donskoi Monastery and other stone work, and reconstructing the facades of Palibin’s house (a wooden Empire-style mansion built in 1818).

Everyone interested may join the work. International campuses will work until July 28th.
