The Rosatom state corporation plans to supply mini HPP to Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines, Roman Murashov, Global Business Director of the company, spoke at the Atomic week event at EXPO-2017.
He also noted the prospects of the similar supplies to the countries of Africa and Central Asia.
According to him, the preliminary analysis showed that the potential of the supplies is evaluated in thousands of objects in Africa, and hundreds of projects in Central Asia, in particular in Kazakhstan, Turkmenia, Uzbekiston, Kirgizia.
One mini HPP costs about €1 m. “We are sure this product will be demanded due to its economic parameters”, Mr Murashov stressed.
The container-type NPP provides for decreasing the terms of putting it in operation and the cost of construction work significantly.
