Swedish CastorX Capital investment group of companies soon starts constructing the largest in Europe balneotherapeutic health resort near Gatchina (the Leningrad region)
As Construction.RU has been told by the investor’s press-office, the state expertise of the first stage of the project has been completed.
The concept of the unique resort town has been developed by leading European architects guided by Swedish investor and developer Magnus Isaksson.The project includes an infrastructure for leisure, treatment, tourism, sports and amusement: beaches, sports grounds, restaurants, a spa-hotel with a 5,000-6,000 sq.m large water complex and a hotel with 120 rooms.
The first stage includes the construction of automobile roads on the territory of 100 hectares, 72 km long engineering networks, pedestrian paths, engineering infrastructure objects and first realty objects.
Additionally, three municipal nursery schools and a commercial one, a school and 280,000 sq. m of housing will be constructed. 6 bln roubles ($100m) will be invested in the above mentioned objects. The investment in the first stage of construction will total 30 bln roubles ($500m).
