This year the Climate Forum is going to be held in August in Zaryadye Park, a public park located near Red Square in Moscow, according to the head of the Moscow Natural Resources Department, Anton Kulbachevsky.
This is what Mr. Kulbachevsky said on Tuesday during the first preliminary meeting of the International expert council on environmental issues under the Government of Moscow.
He reminded that the Climate Forum was launched last year as a platform for international cooperation. During the meeting of the expert council, Mr. Kulbachevsky told about the successes that Russian capital city achieved in environmental matters. In particular, according to him, the city’s road network is being consistently improved while public transport is becoming increasingly popular.
“Traffic congestion has decreased by 20% compared to the year 2010,” the head of the Department said.
