The Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal dismissed an appeal submitted by Siemens Gas Turbine Technologies — a joint venture of Siemens and the Russian OJSC Power Machines.

The company appealed against the Moscow Arbitration Court decision to refuse to enforce an interim measure in accordance with the company’s complaint in the case of Siemens gas turbines supply to Crimea.

The complaint was launched against entities belonging to Russian Roctec Corporation — JSC and LLC Tekhnopromexport.

“To leave the court decision without change and the complaint without satisfaction”, judge Oleg Savenkov ruled. The corresponding appeal was registered by the court on January 10, 2018.

Earlier it was reported that gas turbines produced by the German company Siemens were delivered to the Crimea which is subject to EU sanctions. Tekhnopromexport, a subsidiary of Roctec Corporation, claims that these gas turbines for Crimean power plants were purchased on the secondary market and then modernized in Russia.
