Russian experts have analyzed the real estate market and found out in which Russia’s cities hosting the 2018 FIFA World Cup, accommodation are offered for rental at the lowest price.

According to the analysis, the lowest prices for residential lease were recorded in the Russian cities of Sochi and St. Petersburg. So, in Sochi, the most budgetary option will cost the city's guests 5,000 rubles ($87) per day, and for renting the most expensive apartments they will have to pay more than 20,000 rubles ($350) per day. In St. Petersburg, the price ranges from 8,400 ($145) to 42,200 ($735) rubles, respectively.

It is worth noting that both cities are popular tourist destinations among Russians. Experts believe that it was the presence of a large number of hotels and hostels that became a factor that influenced the relative affordability of residential lease during this major sporting event.

Also, the experts named Samara, Kazan, and Kaliningrad as the cities where the cost of a residential lease is quite acceptable, amounting to an average of 18,000 ($315) to 70,000 rubles ($1,220) per day.
