Nord Stream 2 AG, the company established for operating Nord Stream gas pipeline, has obtained from the German relative regulatory body a full set of permits for the building of Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline and its further operation.

As stated on the company's website, the permits concern the construction of a 30-kilometer section of the pipeline within Germany’s exclusive economic zone.

Earlier, Nord Stream 2 AG obtained a permit from the German authorities to lay an offshore part of the gas pipeline in the country's territorial waters. Now, the company can proceed with the construction of an entire 85-kilometer section in Germany.

Meanwhile, it is still necessary to obtain similar permits from the three Scandinavian countries situated along the route of this grandiose project.
