The Russian Federal Agency for Tourism has approved a project for the construction of a new sanatorium-and-health resort complex on the territory of the Republic of Ingushetia located in the North Caucasus region, RIA Novosti reported on Thursday.
The resort estimated at more than 1 billion rubles ($17 million) will be located in the Malgobek region of the Republic. This health center will provide services of full courses of treatment procedures with the use of precious mineral wealth the region possesses. The thing is that in the Malgobek region, where a sanatorium-and-health resort is planned to be built, there are useful sources of medicinal and thermal waters. In addition to medical procedures, the sanatorium provides for the provision of preventive treatment services.
The press service of the regional authorities notes that the project will be included in a federal program for the development of tourism in the country. Currently, the project is under review in the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
