Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has visited on Monday the headquarter of JSC Russian Space Systems, incorporated in the Russian Federal Space Agency, and signed an agreement on cooperation with this state corporation.

The agreement provides for establishing innovative clusters in Moscow on the premises of enterprises affiliated with the Russian Federal Space Agency, as well as technoparks and youth creativity centers. On the part of the Russian Federal Space Agency, the agreement was signed by Director General, Igor Komarov. In addition to the establishment of innovative clusters, it is planned to implement projects in the field of import substitution, as well as create joint research laboratories.

“The Russian space industry for Moscow is one of the key ones, with dozens of enterprises operating here. And today the level of technology development depends on the operation of these enterprises. It is important to us that these enterprises feel comfortable. The agreement implies rendering the assistance in attracting investments and the development of the system,” the Mayor said at a signing ceremony.
