At the Venice Biennale of Architecture, Russia will present a railway project titled “Station Russia”, according to a commissioner of the Russian pavilion at the forum, Semyon Mikhailovsky.




‘This year an exhibition “Station Russia” will be arranged in the Russian pavilion, we will turn the pavilion into a station, with a room for waiting for the future inside, storage rooms, architectural depots, lots of infographics, as well as video and art projects,’ Mr. Mikhalovsky told reporters on Monday.

According to him, Nikolay Shumakov, President of the Union of Architects of Russia, will present his works in the pavilion. In addition, a project for the architectural workshop Studio 44 will be showcased at the Biennale. Visitors will be able to see the reconstruction of the Pavlovsk railway station which is the first Russian railway station building.
