The sports center with a 3D effect on the facade is planned to be constructed in north-western Moscow, the press office of the Moscow City Architecture Committee reports on Thursday.
The facility will be located on Tushinskaya street, not far from the Red October stadium. A total area of the 4-storey building will occupy an area of over 3,000 square meters. The construction works are planned to be completed in two years.
“We are going to create the illusion of a three-dimensional space on the facades with the use of vertical metal slats up to 18 meters high — of yellow, white and gray colors. They will be fixed from the south, north and west sides of the building. Such an architectural solution will suggest a kind of ease in the building’s appearance,” chief architect of Moscow, Sergey Kuznetsov, said.
