The highest skyscraper in the Moscow City business district is planned to built in the central part of the Russian capital city.




The project will be implemented by Mosinzhproekt company that is owned by the city, RIA Novosti news agency reported on Wednesday. Last week, a tender for a designer and technical customer for the construction of a high-rise was already announced. It will be a mixed-use residential complex located on 1st Krasnogvardeiskiy Proezd. A total area of the 407-meter facility is over 280,000 sqm. The project is estimated at 1.45 billion rubles.

According to the head of PJSC City Alexey Gavrilov, the new high-rise will house both residential spaces and offices. In addition, the building will have observation platforms and other entertainment facilities.

Mosinzhproekt company intended to start the skyscraper construction three years ago, however, in 2016, the project had to be postponed due to the crisis.
