In May 2018, the construction of a plant of the Japanese company Hino that is part of the Toyota group is planned to be started in the Moscow region of Russia.
At present, the construction site for the new facility has already been prepared, Interfax news agency reports with reference to Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government, Denis Butsaev, on Friday. According to him, the active stage of the plant construction will begin next month.
The intention of the Japanese company Hino Motors to create an automobile plant in Khimki, a district in the Moscow region, was announced in the fall of 2017. The enterprise will produce light vehicles and medium duty trucks in the amount of 2,000 cars per year.
The area of the land plot where the plant is being built amounts to 5.3 hectares. It is located not far from the largest Moscow airport Sheremetyevo. The project is estimated at approximately 1 billion rubles.
