BUDAPEST. GRAPHISOFT®, a leading developer of BIM solutions to architects and designers, has announced today the release of a new version of its flagship product ARCHICAD 22.

The process of designing and creating documentation for the facades of buildings has been improved in ARCHICAD. In addition, a number of improvements have been made in the field of modeling, information management, and 2D performance.

“Creating spaces and defining their envelope is what architects love most of all. In ARCHICAD 22, we have substantially redesigned the Curtain Wall tool to simplify the process of graphical creation of building facades with the use of the modular pattern editor”, said Péter Temesvári, Director of Product Management at GRAPHISOFT. “The most important improvement of the Curtain Wall is that now this tool can be used at all stages of design. From the conceptual design to the release of project documentation meeting the requirements of national standards, the Curtain Wall remain full-fledged BIM elements”.

What's new in ARCHICAD 22

A revised approach to the design of facades in ARCHICAD 22 simplifies the adjustment of patterns determining the appearance of the exterior and interior structures of modular building facades. The advanced extension of ARCHICAD-Grasshopper Connection allows creating facades both on the basis of a traditional approach and using algorithmic design technologies.

The use of various modifiers in the improved Profile Editor allows creating flexible profiles of walls and columns. The patented GRAPHISOFT algorithm of Machine Learning significantly enhances the smoothness of 2D navigation even for very large and complex projects.

ARCHICAD 22 contains the latest CineRender (R19) mechanism developed by Maxon and allowing to create stereoscopic or spherical panoramic (360°) visualizations. Element redundancy in the Teamwork mode now takes a split second. The accuracy of the exported data on components of multilayer structures and complex profiles was improved with the use of OPEN BIM data transmission standards.

In addition to these improvements, ARCHICAD 22 also includes other modifications aimed at an increase in performance and comfort. To learn more about new features of ARCHICAD 22 and register for the international online premiere of ARCHICAD 22, please visit http://www.graphisoft.ru/archicad.
