The construction of residential houses within the framework of the interest-free mortgage program has been launched in the Kuril Islands.
As RBC news agency reported on Monday, it is about the island of Iturup. The government of the Sakhalin region has clarified that the project includes the construction of both individual housing and rental apartment buildings.
The Sakhalin Mortgage Agency, which was founded by the regional government, will grant interest-free loans. The only condition for obtaining the loan at 0% is the presence of a permanent registration on any of the Kuril Islands. The loan amount varies from 300,000 rubles ($4,800) to 4.2 million rubles ($67,000).
