As early as this year, a high-tech waterpark in the form of a flying saucer is planned to be built in Ingushetia, a Russian Caucasian republic.

The facility will become the first all-season waterpark in the region, Interfax news agency reported on Tuesday referring to the Republican committee on tourism.

It will be built in the city of Nazran at the expense of extrabudgetary funds. To date, the amount of investment in the project is 800 million rubles. In the waterpark, there will be men's and women's separate zones, as well as a children's zone. In total, the facility’s capacity is 300 people at a time.

The building’s exterior will resemble a glass flying saucer. There will be a wave pool, four water slides, a sauna and a fitness room. In addition, cinema halls and exhibition center will be built there.
