Speaking at a roundtable in Moscow, Alexander Kogan, head of the Moscow Region Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management, named city districts where the first three waste treatment facilities will be opened, Interfax reports on Monday.

The objects will be erected on the territory of Zaraysk, Roshal and Serebryannye Prudy. In total, it is planned to open eleven such complexes in the Moscow region.

“We plan to launch the first facilities in the autumn of this year, until the fourth quarter, we plan to commission three ones,” Kogan said. He has added that the land plots have already been selected and preparatory work is underway on the construction sites.

The facilities’ construction on the territory of the urban district of Roshal and in Serebryannye Prudy will begin in the near future and will be completed in less than six months. Works on the construction site in Zaraysk are scheduled to start later.
