A large abandoned plot of land with an area of 200,000 square meters located on Rogansky Island is planned to be turned into a residential area.
The new residential compound will house some 3500 people. Private development of Sekyra Group called Rohan City is estimated at more than €389 million, according to Prague TV.
The project was approved by the Municipality of Prague 8 last week. “I am glad that we have finally completed all the necessary arrangements to make Rogansky Island a full-fledged part of the picturesque area of Prague 8 and the city as a whole. For me, the main achievement is the agreement reached with the developer who accepted our demands and implemented them in the project”, Mayor of Prague 8, Roman Petrus, said.
