The authorities of the Tula region intend to repair about 200 kilometers of “Don” federal highway, with the work being planned to be completed in three years.
As Interfax reported on Tuesday, referring to Chairman of the Board of the state-owned company Avtodor Sergey Kelbakh, the reconstruction of the roadway is estimated at 4.8 billion rubles ($77 million). As he said, the repair will be carried out in 4 stages and is scheduled to be completed by the middle of 2020. The tender for a contractor will be held in June-July.
Kelbakh has pointed out that in the next two years, about two hundred kilometers of roads will be repaired on M-4 “Don” federal highway in the Tula region.
In the current year, repair works will be carried out on sections with a length of 51 kilometers, and in 2019-2020 — on sections with a length of 101 kilometers.
