St. Petersburg real estate draws more investments than that in Moscow

Since the beginning of this year, the share of investment in real estate located in the Russian city of St. Petersburg, for the first time in the history of the modern Russian real estate market has exceeded that of Moscow.




As noted in a study conducted by the world's largest real estate company CBRE, the share of capital investment in St. Petersburg real estate amounted to 48%. Thus, the Moscow region went down to the second position, accounting for 46%.

Generally, the volume of investment in Russian real estate amounted to 60 billion rubles in the first half of this year, showing a decrease of 41% compared to the first half of 2017.
