The Italian company Atitech S.p.A., which provides air navigation maintenance services, signed an agreement with the Russian state company Rostec and its subsidiary Tekhnodinamika on the construction of an MRO center near Moscow.
According to Intelligent Aerospace, the facility construction is scheduled to be completed within two years. The center will provide maintenance and repair services for aircraft components and engines. Both domestic and foreign aircraft will be serviced, however, the center will primarily focus on Sukhoi Superjet 100, Irkut MC-21 and large commercial airplanes produced by Airbus, Bombardier, and Boeing.
Technodinamika has accumulated extensive experience in the organization of aircraft maintenance and repair processes, while cooperation with Italy's Atitech will strengthen its position in this market and expand its presence in the Moscow region, where the demand for MRO is the highest in Russia,” Director General of Rostec corporation, Sergei Chemezov, was quoted as saying.
Also, along with the facility being built near Moscow, Russian specialists will be trained at the Atitech training center in Naples.
