Russia is willing to supply integrated house-building plants to Syria, which are capable of producing a wide range of reinforced concrete products within a short period of time, Alexander Tolparov, a representative of Russia’s Industry and Trade Ministry, said on Wednesday.

“One of the most urgent tasks is the restoration of destroyed settlements and industrial facilities, as well as the provision of a local population, including those returning to their homeland, with housing and jobs. This can be ensured by supplying Syria with house-building plants producing a wide range of reinforced concrete products”, Tolparov said at a meeting of the interdepartmental coordination headquarters for the refugee return to Syria.

As Tolparov has specified, the equipment has been redesigned in accordance with Syrian conditions and requirements, as well as the peculiarity of building materials. It is unique and highly automated, with an option of the remote production support and quality monitoring of manufactured products.

The official has noted that Russian companies are ready to take part in projects for restoring and building airports, providing security, and equipping airports with means of air traffic control automation. The latter is a strategic task, which implementation will ensure the further promotion of Russian high-tech products, as well as the construction in Syria of a unified military-civil airspace control system, he added.
