The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is going to submit to the National Security and Defense Council a list of 19 legal entities, which are planned to be sanctioned because of their participation in the construction of the Crimean bridge.

“Such a decision was made today during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine”, the press office of the Ukrainian Ministry of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons said.

The Ministry has initiated the subject of applying sanctions against 19 private and public companies that are the heads or founders of legal entities involved in the construction of the Kerch bridge and has prepared a corresponding package of documents.

In particular, the list includes companies Stroygazmontazh, which was a general contractor of the project, its subsidiary SGM-Most, Giprostroymost Institute based in St. Petersburg and some other enterprises. The Ministry noted that imposing the above-mentioned sanctions would allow to limit or terminate economic relations of these companies with the EU member states and the United States.
