Last month, more than 845,000 cars have crossed a bridge across the Kerch Gulf in both directions, the Crimean Bridge media center told Construction.RU on Monday.
According to the report, a total of 2,2 million drivers of vehicles have used the bridge since the date of its commissioning in May. On average, 27,300 vehicles pass through the bridge per day, which is 10% higher than in July.
We should remind you that in mid-August, a record was set for daily traffic across the Crimean Bridge — more than 33,000 cars. In addition, since the second half of August, there has been a reorientation of the traffic flow towards Taman.
The seasonal factor is pronounced since the traffic flow substantially increases from May and reaches its peak in August. However, in the case of the Crimean Bridge, the dynamics are more gradual, which indicates the primary formation of a permanent traffic flow that does not depend on seasonality. So, the new route is being gradually included in life activities of residents of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea.
