$137 million to be invested in new industrial park in Moscow region

The M8 industrial park will be built in the vicinity of the village of Svatkovo located in Sergiev Posad district, the press office of the municipal administration reports on Friday.




A total of 16 investors are willing to place their production facilities there.

“As early as next year, five residents will embark on the construction of their plants”, the statement published on the website of the administration said. According to the press office, a total amount of capital investments is estimated at 9,4 billion rubles ($137 million).

The area of the industrial park will occupy about 90 hectares and is planned to be divided into three sections. The first one, located closer to the highway A-108, will be allotted to the construction of logistics centers and warehouses. The second one is meant for the production facilities of light industry, while the third one will house food production.

As a reference, the Sergiev Posad district is located in the Moscow region, Russia. The village of Svatkovo is located in the north of the Moscow region, in the southeastern part of the Sergiev Posad district, about 64 kilometers north of the Moscow Ring Road.
