Subsidies allocated from Russia’s federal budget to the development of large-capacity gas turbines in 2019-2021 may amount to 7 billion rubles ($103 million).

This is stated in an explanatory note to a 2019 draft budget and the scheduling period of 2020 and 2021 years. In particular, in 2019, subsidies will amount to 3 billion rubles, while in 2020 and 2021, 2 billion rubles are expected to be allocated for this purpose.

The change in the parameters of the financial provision of the subprogram titled “The Development of the Production of the Means of Production” is due to the implementation of measures on subsidizing Russian organizations as a financial support for part of the costs of research, development and technological work within the framework of the establishment of the production of high capacity gas turbines in the amount of 3 billion rubles in 2019 and in the amount of 2 billion rubles in 2020-2021, the document reads.

Earlier, the Russian company Silovye Mashiny reported on a decision, according to which in 2019, the company will receive 3 billion rubles from the federal budget for the development of high power gas turbines — 65 MW and 170 MW.
