The head of the project, Vladimir Urlapkin, told Moscow journalists about this. According to him, the implementation of the project will be carried out in 9 stages. The demolition of the Russia Hotel is completed and the construction of the car park and philharmonic hall is ongoing. The authorities are to double the number of the workers at the park. 500 builders are currently working at the construction site in two shifts.
To remind you, the city’s investment in the creation of a magnificent park will cost 11bln rubles. The winner of the tender for the landscape/architectural concept of the park is a consortium headed by the architectural bureau Diller, Scofidio and Renfro, from the USA. The project includes the creation of four landscape zones with artificial micro-climates.
