As Construction.ru was told by the “Crimean Bridge” information center, the packing of the collectable wine will take place this year and the bottles will be opened in 2019 after launching traffic along the bridge. Anybody willing to do so will have the opportunity to taste it, and even to take a couple of bottles as a souvenir.
The wine should be superb: the Massandra and Novy Svet companies are taking part in its creation on the Crimean side, and Fanagoria, Chateau Taman and Sauk-Dere on the Kuban side. 19,000 bottles will be produced by each party, as the bridge is 19 km long.
To remind you, the main traffic line connecting Crimea with continental Russia is currently a ferry across the Kerch Strait. The new bridge is planned to be constructed by December, 2018.
