As the regional press office told Construction.ru, after the negotiations, the head of the region said that the Metallurgical Corporation of China (???) is planning the construction of a low-rise cottage settlement in the Tosna district, and the Shandong Junhoe industrial company has suggested building a wood processing factory in the south-west of the Leningrad region.
Besides this, the Leningrad regional government, the International Investment Cooperation Foundation, and the CIMM-CNR DALIAN CONSORTIUM company have agreed on the construction and operation of some light rail transport lines between towns in the Leningrad region.
To remind you, this year the Leningrad region’s external turnover with the PRC has been $533.9m (5.4% of the whole external turnover of the Leningrad region).
Compared with the same period in 2014, this is $213.1m greater, at the expense of the Leningrad region’s exports of mineral fuel and oil products, and coffee and tea imports from China.
