As the press office of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities told Construction.ru, the countries also intend to collaborate in the spheres of energy saving and energy efficiency, internal air quality, the maintenance and technical servicing of buildings, efficient materials usage, and to share their experience in the fields of design, construction and urban development regulations.
Russia and Finland plan to develop a partnership and launch joint projects by scientific research institutes and technology development centers, and provide for information interchange in the sphere of advanced methods of buildings repair and construction as part of cooperation on municipal and regional levels.
Besides this, the parties have agreed to create a work group as part of the Russian-Finnish committee on economic cooperation and agreements have been signed between the Russian National Association of Construction Materials Producers and the Union of the Construction Industry of Finland.
