As the Director General of the hypermarkets department of Auchan Retail Russia, Oleg Alkhamov told Interfax that in 2016 10 Auchan and Auchan City hypermarkets will open in Russia, as well as 40 Atak supermarkets.
In 2015 the company invested about 10-11 bln rubles in the Russian market, opening 8 new hypermarkets. The latest was recently opened in the Moscow region.
