As a press officer of the Council of the Federation explained to Construction.ru, this concerns only investment projects relevant to the tourist and recreation industries, processing enterprises, the fishing industry and agriculture.
In all other aspects, everything remains as it was — within 3 years, starting from the date that the legal entity was included on the register of residents of the Special Economic Zone in Kaliningrad, the entity has to invest no less than 150 mln roubles.
The notion of the tourist and recreational industries implies construction, reconstruction, and operation of tourist industry objects, as well as objects intended for sanitary treatment, medical rehabilitation, civil leisure etc.
The initial projects will require investment of more than 30 mln roubles.
