France's armed forces, which are deployed in the northern part of a war-torn Syria, started building of a military base near the city of Kobani, located in Aleppo province, Sputnik agency reported on Friday referring to a Kurdish source.
“The French have begun constructing a military base similar to the US military bases… French experts and military advisers working in the region will be stationed there”, the agency cites its source.
The provided information reveals that the specialists from France, Great Britain and the USA, who are currently in the same Aleppo province, but in the other city, Manbij, are instructed to train the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces militias.
