According to the Vedomosti newspaper, the deal reached by Thai investor, the Russian Fund for Direct Investments and the regional authorities will be put on paper over the course of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Thai corporation is already engaged in business in Russia - Charoen Pokphand Group is erecting a dairy factory in the Ryazan region for $1,1 bln. The project of a similar scope is to be realized in the Moscow region as well.
The dairy unit will keep 80,000 animals and will have a processing capacity of up to 400,000 tons of milk annually.
