Zuckerberg heavily criticized for stone wall construction on Hawaii

A 1,8 m wall blocks the view of the Pacific Ocean for automobile drivers going by the site, his neighbors claim.

The new stone wall is intended to separate Zuckerberg’s villa from the public highway, TASS agency reports. The construction work was launched approximately six weeks ago.

West Hawaii Today cites one of Zuckerberg’s neighbors as saying: “The feeling of it is really oppressive. It’s immense. It’s really sad that somebody would come in, and buy a huge piece of land and the first thing they do is cut off this view that’s been available and appreciative by the community here for years”.

However, the representative of Mark Zuckerberg explained that the neighbors’ wishes had been taken into account and assured that the wall construction met all technical requirements of the State.
