Head of Moscow Urban Construction Policy stressed that metro was the most popular means of public transportation among the citizens.
“Over 2,5 bln people travel by subway annually”, Lyovkin noted. As a comparison, about 1,7 bln people travel by subway in New York and 1,6 bln – in Hong Kong.
