This statement was made at a session of Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities held with the participation of the First Vice Prime Minister of Russia, Igor Shuvalov, chaired by the Construction Minister, Mikhail Menn.
The participants of the meeting demonstrated the possibilities of this unique technology when designing the objects, as well as told about the completed buildings constructed with the used of this technology.
BIM model of the future building will include not only features of materials and processes, but also the information on purchases, supplies and timing of the projected repair work.
According to Igor Shuvalov, the usage of BIM technologies will significantly reduce the commissioning time and will facilitate the control process over the project implementation, as well as will remove the administrative barriers over the course of construction and design engineering.
