Minister Menn on living conditions improvement via HMLA (AIZhK)

Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities, Mikhail Menn, spoke about it at the plenary meeting of the RusRealExpo 2016 forum in Moscow.

The infill construction opportunities have been almost exhausted in Russian cities. The projects of complex development of territories acquire priority in such conditions. For their implementation, it is necessary to introduce new territories in turnover, including former industrial areas. HMLA (AIZhK) involves the territories totaling 13,500 hectares. About 2m families will be able to improve their living conditions.

The housing will be constructed in addition to previously planned volumes. To remind you, according to the data by the All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center, in the end of 2015, about 60m of Russians needed to improve their housing conditions.
