Egypt’s officials have already considered this proposal with the speakers of both chambers of the Russian parliament in Moscow. The prior consent of both parties has been given.
Thus, according to one of the schemes, Russia rents one of the terminals in any Egyptian airport and organizes safety performance in compliance with its requirements. Besides of that, the initiative to construct a new temporary terminal is being negotiated as well.
Egyptian law-enforcement agents will carry out customs examination and passport control there, whereas Russian specialists will engage in the examination of cargoes, passengers and aircrafts.
