Jurors found PG&E Corp. guilty of six out of twelve counts.
However, the maximum fine for PG&E will not exceed $3m, after, at the request of federal prosecutors, over $500m in potential fines were cut in the case. Initially the sum totaled up to $562m, but prosecutors insisted that PG&E paid a fine of no more than $6 million.
