South Australian government approves construction of Renewable Energy Park

There will be nearly sixty 130-meter wind turbines, as well as four hundred hectares of solar panels in the park. Approximately 375 MW of energy will be generated, what is enough to meet the needs of two hundred households in the neighbourhood. Moreover, 470,000 tonnes of carbon emissions are expected to be saved annually, according to director of DP Energy Australia, David Blake.

As David Blake noted, good grid capacity, solar and wind resources create the favorable environment for the company's operation. He also added that other wind farm might be constructed in Queensland's north as well.
