Construction and equipment of the Russian Defense Ministry’s units in the Arctic region will continue until 2020, the Agency’s press office told Construction.RU on Thursday.
Cargos to Arctic are formed at the seaports of Arkhangelsk, Murmansk and Kandalakshi, that is over 10 ships capable to follow a complicated ice route towards the remote territory.
The Main Engineering Directorate №2 of the Federal Special Construction Agency of Russia is operating on six Arctic islands.
